Calling All San Franciscans

Summer in San Francisco.

I have the privilege of living in San Francisco, and as all Bay Area folk know, this city is always ahead of the curve when it comes to pretty much everything eco-friendly (summer weather is another issue). So, for those times when the shopping bug comes a bitin’, I have a handful of great boutiques from which to choose.

My most recent discovery is Ladita, an eco-friendly boutique in Bernal Heights, during a Sunday stroll on my way to satisfy another sort of craving at Emmy’s Spaghetti Shack. Finds at this hot spot range from green fashion and handmade jewelry to all-natural organic beauty products and crafty gifts. The owners guarantee that all picks are environmentally friendly, sweatshop-free, fair trade, or made in the US. My eyes went straight for the Porridge dresses and J Brand jeans, but I guarantee that whatever your fancy, you’ll come home with some great new additions to your personal eco-collection.
