I frequently reinvent rooms with a few new touches so they stay fresh and inviting. A friend once informed me that in the two years she had known me, she had never seen my apartment look the same twice. Is it just me? Anyway, I think these two looks are so pretty, not to mention inherently green – and you can treat yourself to either fun project for next to nothing, keeping your winter budget squarely in the gift-giving green.
All you’ll need are soap bottles to create a chic still life a la artist Carolyn Mason. It’s surprising how high-end the soap bottles look when grouped on a mantle. The uniform hue of the flowers really makes it pop. (via Design Sprout)
