A Hot Hauz

We’ve all come to learn that Scandinavian is synonymous with cool design (just think Ikea). Meet Hau Hauz.

Designer Satu Makkonen draws her inspiration from nature and different cultures. She uses only natural fabrics like organic cotton, hemp, and linen to create an extensive product line. Makkonen adorns her fabrics with hand-screen printed patterns and each piece reflects a uniquely Scandinavian sense of design with simple, clean shapes and colors to create a bold impression. The collection includes handbags, change purses, cushions, throws, table linens, kitchen accessories, and other giftware.
