DIY Homemade Fish Spice Mix

fish seasoning recipe

This homemade fish spice mix recipe is ideal for use on all kinds of white fish, from the utterly tasteless tilapia to a meatier haddock. The result is pure deliciousness. Enjoy!

This fish spice mix incorporates strong flavors that add zest to an otherwise neutral tasting fish. Simply drizzle olive oil over the fish and season both sides with the spice blend before cooking, which can be frying, baking or grilling.

Also use the seasoning on vegetables that will accompany the fish dish to provide consistency in flavor. To intensify the taste of the dish, mix the fish spice mix in enough olive oil to marinade the fish. Seal the fish with the marinade in a zip-lock bag and let sit in the refrigerator overnight. The fish will absorb the flavors from the olive oil and spice mix and be more flavorful after cooked.
