Have you read Coming Home to Eat by Gary Paul Nabhan? A great book about his year eating locally in the desert of Arizona, sure to make you hungry for something delicious and natural. His writing is really intoxicating--he could be writing about radiator hoses for all I care and I'd still be enthralled by every word.
