I found GiftZip last week it is awesome. Apparently plastic gift cards contribute 75 million pounds of carcinogenic material into the waste stream each year. Their manufacture is equally nasty and occurs in third world countries. This site is basically a hyperlinked directory to every retailer that offers instant or emailable gift cards. Check it out www.giftzip.com and ditch the plastic!

Regarding that very first link about growing loofahs: oh yeah, way cool! When I was in Mexico, I remember seeing them growing on a neighbor's vine and asking her for a few dry ones. She had an abundance. Use them for the bath and washing dishes too! I suppose it takes a somewhat tropical climate to grow loofahs, or at least a long, hot summer...but certainly a great idea for the budding gardener. All your friends will love receiving whole, dried loofahs as gifts! I know I sure had fun husking mine and taking the seeds out before scrubbing with it. Au natural!!
