High-Style Mystery with the Squid Necklace by Lulu Frost

Being such a huge fan of bold, chunky necklaces, I was instantly drawn to this art deco “Squid” necklace by Lulu Frost.

The piece is a vintage steel cut buckle on an antique brass chain. In my opinion, using a buckle as a pendant couldn’t be more genius. Lulu says that time gives a mystery to old things, and I just adore how she’s made everything from old pocket watches to antique bifocals new again. I love the shape (I mean, it only loosely resembles a squid) and the length. Pair it with a very understated look like a black wrap tee and sexy jeans. ($350.)
