Lustables: A Peace Treaty’s Baiga Bangle

A luxury artisan-designed bangle inspired by the eastern jaunts of disco icons from the 1970’s.

Spend some time exploring A Peace Treaty‘s truly lustable accessories collections. Founded by Dana Arbib and Farah Malik,  the ethically produced luxury line is made by Third World artisans and sells scarves and jewelry everywhere from Barneys to Rugby Ralph Lauren.

The handmade engraved Baiga bangle from the mesmerizing THAR collection heralds ancient disappearing traditions in smithing. The unique design is inspired by the eastern jaunts of disco icons from the 1970’s as well as the Thar gypsies’ ancient civilization. A Peace Treaty employs desert artisan families in Rajasthan to craft these hand-carved, gold-plated brass pieces and enables a revival of centuries-old recycled materials and sustainable techniques including the use of discarded camel bone.

Antiqued gold plated brass.
