New Favorite: Lucy Notions Vintage Handmade Headbands

It’s getting to be summer, a time of year when head candy is the perfect accessory. Just think of balmy days spent cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway in your sweetie’s old Mercedes convertible. Surely you need something to hold those precious locks back while the wind whips by. I dream of donning a swanky headscarf Audrey Hepburn style but just can’t pull off the look.
That’s where Lucy Notions comes in. The headband is one style I can pull off and want to sport all the time. Handmade in the U.S. of vintage and repurposed fabrics (i.e. old kimonos) sourced from all over the world (Italy, France, Switzerland, Ireland, England, Japan, and the States), these eco-friendly creations are truly one-of-a-kind. They’re even embellished with Swarovski stones! ($110)

This is such good feedback, everyone – I am sure the designer will want to know, as well. (Let us know how it goes.)
Me, too! Total disappointment. The price was way too high for something that arrived damaged (water stains on the silk and missing crystals!) It took weeks to arrive, after numerous promises from the designer that they had been mailed. Two thumbs down.
I have to say, I bought one of these and am very disappointed. The quality is not anywhere near what the price tag would suggest. The crystals fell off, the material separated– definitely would not recommend or purchase one of these again.
i love these! i am always on the look out for unique handmade headbands. i suggest browsing etsy to find more, such as these ones:
