Practical Flats for Growing Girls

-

If my 12-year-old’s feet get any bigger we’ll have to shop at stores for transvestites. The drawback is we don’t want kinky boots or stilettos for middle school. When your little one has big feet (size 10 and growing) it can be hard to find comfortable shoes with low heels for dress and school.

That’s why I’m glad I found ragazzivegan for Sydney. I love their Didi line of flats with embroidered flowers or fun bows which are ideal for the upcoming Bar and Bat Mitzvah season at my daugher’s Jewish day school (think debutante coming-out parties with Torah readings and D.J. sessions).

Ragazzi means young people (kids to about age 30) in Italian, and the vegan means no leather or animal products go into the construction of these shoes. There is a healthy variety of flats, as well as boots, sneakers and comfort shoes for young women and old. And I love the pricing – under $50 for many of the designs – which also is ideal for the 13-and-under crowd.
