Growing up in the SF Bay area 30 years ago we used to feel sorry for people from Sonoma - such a cow town, hicksville, with chickens running around downtown. Today, fabulous Sonoma has the last laugh.

At first the slowness bothered me during my years of having a home there. But I really missed it when we sold it to live in the bustling City full time. Wish we could all slow down and take in our lives, rather than rushing to get through each day. Go Sonoma!

As a proud resident of "Slow-noma", I can attest, we do live at a slower pace and happily roll up our sidewalks at 10pm (9:30 on weeknights)!
