Bottoms Up!

The VivaTerra company commissioned an artisan to transform oak wine barrels into handsome, multi-purpose tables.

A handsome sturdiness in design was the result - and weatherproof to boot. The original barrels are cut into halves and then flipped over and given an artisan finish. The tables display the winery insignia of their origin, and can also be used as large planters: VivaTerra will custom drill draining holes in the barrels if you'd prefer the planter option!

At $140 each, a family of barrels could grace your garden, patio or even living room: they're deeply lustrous when gently polished with olive oil and essence of lemon.
