North Star Family Matters

I have to admit I’m not a parent yet, but I know a conscious parent when I see one. By “conscious” I mean someone who empowers her child to make the best decisions instead of frightening them into obedience; a parent who knows her children will teach her so much more than she’ll ever teach them.

Of course, I know parenting is much more complicated than the theories about it, and I am impressed by North Star Family Matters, an intelligent parenting magazine that acknowledges that children have as much innate knowing and deserve the same communication as adults. This magazine doesn’t provide "tips" on how to better control kids or make them fit into a box, but real information on how to nurture children’s passions and bring out their inner best.

As we're all making choices to live more consciously on the planet, we can also make better choices to live more consciously with our partners in life - our children.
