Someone must have been reading my mind because it came in my email today…I just ended a 4 year relationship this weekend and I have been sitting here on the verge of tears all day but this article just reconfirmed what I have known for a long time…this toxic relationship must end! This is a good article however, all relationships goes through a rough patch. But you can’t give 10 reasons to break up for all relationship. Each is unique some may have all 10 going on but what about being loyal and committed in the good and bad. Everything has cycles….jobs, relationship, school, etc as long as your growing in those cycles you shouldn’t be so quick to stop it. And, yes you can grow with daily arguements. You learn the other person likes, dislikes, etc. You, him or her may not change however, no one is perfect and you sometimes have to look over some negatives and start looking at the positive. Good or bad you should observe your relationship for what it is. Because leaving and jumping into another one the same issues will come up if they are not resolved and most of the time it may not be an issue with your significant other but with you. Whether it’s learning to forgive, being kind so the little things doesn’t bother you, thinking more positive, etc. God puts us in relationship to learn about ourselves not learn how others should change so we can be happy!

So ironic that this came up on my blog feed today. I just ended a three year relationship yesterday and it’s just so tough right now. Reading this made me realize that it was the right move to make, no matter how awful it feels right now. Thank you for the clarifying read.

YES. Always break up with people when presented with the opportunity. Cut all ties. Whenever possible you should quit your job, dump your partner, and clean your apartment. They all feel great and then your house smells nice and you can go do something else that’s better.
