Jesus Christ this makes me sick!!! The worst part is I know so many people, both men AND women who don’t care about this and make it seem like those of us who do are just penis hating lesbian feminazis who are making everything up in an attempt to convince everyone on the planet that being male means you’re a worthless sack of shit, all so eventually females can rule the universe! None of that is true! I consider myself a feminist because i crusade to stop all violence against women (and violence in general!) and stand up for not only myself, but for all other women and girls out there, including the ones that can’t speak for themselves because they are afraid of the repercussions resulting from misogynistic, sexist ignorant people like these lawmakers. I don’t hate men, but I am never going to deny the fact that men are the main perpetrators of violence against women. I am not a lesbian, (but I support gay rights fully) but it seems like Everytime women stand up for their rights periodically, they’re written off as gay girls who’s opinion doesn’t matter because being gay is sinful and unnatural anyway. Im not out to run the world. I dont think women are better than men. I dont think men are better than women. At the end of the day, we are all just humans afterall. I am a human! I stand up for my rights! Why am I being punished for that (and having a vagina) I come from South Africa, a country that is quite literally “the rape capital of the world” ( and I experienced the sexual abuse that is so common place there myself) but when I read about how these American lawmakers are denying me my rights as a human, it makes me consider moving back there!
