Making a poultice of Baking Soda and Water, apply to any sting (ant, bee, wasp, scorpion). It will draw out not only the poison, but most times it will also draw out the stinger if one is there.
I had never heard of this until I was stung by a scorpion. If you have never experienced this, count your blessings! It feels like a wasp sting, only the burning goes all the way up the nearest blood vessel! It feels like it is on fire!
My aunt had me come in the house and she applied the poultice to the sting. Instantly, I could feel the burning receding! Within 3-5 minutes it was gone and I never had another minute of trouble out of it!
Also used it once on a friend of mine (who is allergic to bee stings) when he got stung. He still had some swelling but did not need a shot to keep him out of shock! I do not recommend using this in lue of medical treatment, especially if you have a major allergy. But it in my experience, it does work.
