Using cork oak bark...a very renewable and sustainable gift of nature for innovative and desirable products is referenced on our blog...we hope you&#039;ll check it out. The cork oak forests are also responsible for retaining CO2 that would otherwise be contributing to global warming. The CO2 retention capabilities of Portugal&#039;s cork forests are estimated to be as high as 5%, or 4.8 million tons of the country&#039;s annual emissions per year.
