Blueberries are in season, and they are indeed super. I did get my first taste of acai berries in the Amazon region, just over 30 years ago. That's also where I first drank fresh caju (cashew) juice, and had I made it a habit to try the vegetables and fruits of the region I was visiting. I love NYC Greenmarkets. Tomorrow, I'll pick up my farm share (about ten pounds of food for $10). I volunteered last week, and am volunteering again next week, to pack it for pickup. I chose not to volunteer tomorrow (although I'll go to get my bag), because it's my birthday. Health and peace.
