The Lodge should be torn down since its so old it doesnt even have air conditioning. Its not a very nice place, which the park service should look at for the tourist value, but they dont care.
I blame poor mismanagement through out the park!

I read the other hotels have bed bug infestation as well, so I will stay away from lodging nearby as well.

I react to bedbug bites as badly as you do and after trying everything I found something to help with the itching–very hot water (like hot tap water–almost too hot). While you’re running hot water over the bites they itch like crazy (but in a good way, like scratching) but within seconds of ending the hot water….blessed, wonderful, blissful relief. for a really long time.
