I’ve been following Bahar’s work for years, working in the AEC industry I’ve become skilled at detecting green washing and there’s no fake eco-spin with Miss Shahpar – she is serious and really does her homework. I hope she continues to get the recognition she deserves and that fashionable consumers become eco-conscious enough to demand REAL sustainable practices from their favorite brands.

I would love to see the fabric library someday – and wonder how this revolution in sustainable/eco fabrics will filter down to the individual, rather than designer, user…?
