Hi Mariah,

I too am trying to get an underground market started in a smaller city, but I'm struggling getting past all the city/state regulations. Just wondering, did you have your vendors all supply seller's permits?

Thanks for your post on underground markets! My friend and I just started one in Boulder, Colorado (we didn't think that the big cities should have all the fun!) We had a great turnout for our first market--40 vendors and 200 attendees. It was way more successful than we first imagined, which just goes to show that people are hungry (so to speak) for this type of market all over the country. We also plan to do smaller events to showcase local food artisans' skills. Together we can legalize homemade foods :)
