@ Caitlin - did you notice the bit about there still being a "glass and a half of full cream dairy milk in every 200g block" ? This means they've gone from a glass and a half in 250g, to a glass and a half in 200g - effectively 'watering' down the mix by 20%. More milk = less solids = cheaper for Cadbury. And they reckon the flavour hasn't suffered. Not what I hear from friends who gave the 'new' Cadbury chocolate a go. Apparently it is softer, without the distinctive bite, it melts far more readily (which is not good thing in an Aussie summer), and has a slightly greasy feel in the mouth. They are equating it with the flavour of cooking chocolate!

Cadbury are attempting to gloss over the environmental impact of palm oil operations around the world, too. They still think, in this electronic information age, that we, the consumers, will accept what they print like sheep, and not go and do our own research to find out the facts? Shame, Cadbury, shame.

I was a loyal Cadbury eater/chocoholic for thirty years plus - until they pulled this stunt. I have not had a single Cadbury product since this news broke here a few months back, and will never touch Cadbury again.

On an up note, I have been cured of my rampant chocoholism. Thanks, Cadbury.
