The only moral actions humans take that impact the world are those that reflect our unethical misuse of creation. When we rush to “drill baby drill,” our coastlines get coated in oil. When we create an energy culture that relies on carbon emissions, we raise the global temperature, bringing about wilder weather and concomitant destruction.
