Hello, This may be a dumb question, but it's one I'd been thinking of for a while. Like you mention in your post, inertia is our friend and coasting (in gear) is good. Is it ok to shift into neutral? In theory, it would use less gas, but I don't know if it's ok for the transmission? This is something I've been trying, but I don't want to do harm to my vehicle. Any insight you can provide would be helpful. Thanks!
