@Carla the only thing that seems to help with the top loader is doing really small loads of clothes. Always tempting to do a big load, but I try to restrain myself. 😉

I will have to try (natural, organic, chemical free) baby shampoo for my delicate next time I wash them. I nominally dilute a little bit of my washer detergent which is a pretty clean, eco formula already. We have the standard top loader washer and its brutal on clothes!

Yes, do not forget to separate towels with other garments, because the lint will stick to other garments and it will a lot of time to take it out.

Forever New is awesome,I’ve been using it for years and love the smell. Combined with a mesh bag, washing with Forever New has definitely extended the life of all of my clothing, not just intimates. Thanks for the great tips!

American washing machines seem to be mostly top loaders with a central agitator. This is rougher on your clothes than the European standard of a front loader with no agitator. Good tips!
