		<description><![CDATA[The biggest problem with huge exports of clothing to developing countries is not just a question of cultural imperialism - it is also an economic one. A mass of cheap clothing from the west destroys local markets and cottage industries. While the 2nd hand clothing market does create some job opportunities this isn&#039;t always in balance with those it destroys (and let&#039;s face it, would you rather be a local entrepreneur creating and selling your own designs, or working for some huge global company sorting through other people&#039;s crap). Oxfam did a very good report on this that&#039;s worth checking out.]]></description>
