You can make a body scrub by mixing coffee grounds and liquid soap. I use castile soap. It's a little messy in the shower but makes my skin tingle! Condo Blues's last blog post..What's this Yellow Mold Doing in My Compost?

I watched a Discovery channel show the other night with a woman who taught herself to build houses and even does everything green. She did this as a single mom with two young children. The kids even helped her on the construction site as soon as they were old enough to! Maybe you could tell your kids how easy they have it based on what her kids have to do!

And not only is it green and thrifty to make things, you really really *bond* with them after you’ve slaved over them.

Incidentally, coffee scented soap is officially the greatest idea in the history of human civilization. Fact. And I can’t wait to try it. Another fact.
