Well, we certainly have certainly sunk pretty low on the fashion and food chain. Kind of makes me wonder who really is the CROCK BAIT.

$50,000 for a purse – its hard for me to get passed that. Who would demand that? Don’t say “wealthy people” because I know plenty who wouldn’t waste their money on such mindless murder. I’m no vegan, but this is beyond any “gray area” I would ever argue for.

Besides, all that, I don’t think croc is chic in the least, never have. Organic cotton is chic; canvas sneakers are chic. We can’t have the Brunos of the world dictating fashion, or the whale killers of the world telling getting away with murder on the grounds of “scientific research.” Any way you slice it, it stinks.

Oh my goodness, it’s a sad sign for humanity… I mean, we just don’t look like a very good, conscious, sensitive kind of species, when we simply breed other animals in order to kill them for skin. I know, as you mentioned, we do breed cows and chickens for meat…(but I’m vegetarian and have recently given up eggs too, so I can wipe away some of that guilt!!)

Anyway, it just doesn’t look good for humans. We’re not much better than ants, who herd and breed aphids like we herd cows!!

I prefer a world in which we respect animals and don’t merely use and abuse them.
