I could probably eat rat or squirrel and maybe dog if you didn’t tell me. I hope never to have to consider eating horse. But cat? No way. I draw the line. There’s a fluff ball at home and she does not have “dinner” written on her forehead.

Vegetarians often bring up the ethical dissonance – why are some animals pets and other animals food? Whether you eat meat or not, is it a fair question to ask?
