For years, while I worked in the fashion industry, I watched trends come and go; industrialization and our expectations have made clothing and accessories so disposable. It’s wonderful to see more and more handcrafted treasures that we are more likely to keep until they are truly worn. We love them for their beauty and the care that was taken to make them, rather than their brief expression of a fashion trend. These Hetty Rose shoes are such an inspiration for those of us who would like to be unique in our style, and conservative in the way we use resources.
