I love the idea deeply and abidingly – and in fact I use my smartphone as an ebook reader – but I wouldn’t buy one of these readers, not yet. I want to see where they appear on, say, the Greenpeace Guide to Electronics. And phones are way ahead of the game, as well as being more transparent in terms of how they’re disposed of, and much cheaper (and they’re a phone!). Oh, and that last paragraph has just kept me busily bookmarking for the last ten minutes. 🙂 Thanks, Caitlin.
