Beautiful collection - However, the mentioned supplier Indigo Handloom provides ZERO TRANSPARENCY in its supply chain. THe only information she will reveal is that the cloth is from India, meaningless in a vast country with thousands of handloom traditions. Despite the fact that the owner says she supports artisans in India, she has no interest in providing any sort of background about the weavers - like the IOU project does - out of fear. She thinks you will go to India to find the weaver, and that she will lose business in the end. What is paramount for her is that the weaver supply solely through Indigo Handloom, and the exposure of artisans' process and history is tertiary at best.
