I think lavender is fabulous: in my garden, in a vase on the window, in my bath oil, in soap... But I am with you on the taste experience. I don&#039;t want to eat soap, and lavender has such a strong, slightly medicinal, and definitely soapy scent (and taste) that the food angle doesn&#039;t work for me. 
I think the only possibility for me might be in the dessert arena. I could see the lavender shortbread. Maybe. 
Honestly though, I&#039;d rather have pistachios, or dried cranberries, or white chocolate... or almost anything... in my shortbread than lavender. I can eat that and be happy.
And then go wash my hands with the lavender soap... ]]></description>
