Gretchen is tedious and tasteless. Her winning was a real misstep by the judges, who are usually right on. Mondo will makes his way just fine, but he was cheated on Project runway. They need to do a retake.

After the last few episodes of the show I have to agree with the poster above, sustaining her ego, very little else. The whole point of sustainability IS in fact to find your place within the confines of the world around you with regard to those that share the planet with you. Its not about sustainability for sustainability’s sake, its about being responsible and honest about your consumption because you aren’t the only one here. Promoting yourself as using the “right” textiles and treatments when you present yourself as a selfish, domineering bully misses the point on an individual level and does a great dis-service to those of us that actually care for less selfish reasons. Grow up.

Well, it’s too bad that Gretchen is the only sustainable designer. After last week’s show, I feel all she’s interested in is sustaining her own ego. What a terribly narcissistic bore she is. And clueless as to how over limit her comments go? So very.
