You really should consider dumping the white sugar all together.  Its not good for you.  Experiment with honey which, just incidentally, is the only food which NEVER goes bad.  It can crystalize, but it will never, no matter how long it hangs around, rot, or become bad to eat.  And its the ONLY food that can be said of.]]></description>
