Too often, they’re seen as purely a fashion item. Including by me. And now I have leathery crinkles round the corners of my eyes.

And recently added to the list of horrors that sunglasses protect against is macular degeneration – where the centre of your vision goes. That’s a scary, scary prospect.

Its called ocular melanoma and is just as deadly as the skin kind. Don’t leave home without the shades 🙂
