I’ve been a passionate practitioner of yoga for quite some time. There’s no doubt yogis are starting to care more and more about style – I was even street-style photographed at the Tadasana Festival this weekend – but with all the consciousness floating around in wood-floored yoga rooms everywhere, it pains me to see such an abundance of cheap fast fashion there. Especially since there is so much great sustainable yoga wear to choose from. In a world gone mad, shorts emerge as a hot trend and thankfully, skirts are there to save us.

You open up your summer dresser drawer and there are two pairs of worn out shorts. One pair, circa 1990, were for you used to hike a lot and wanted comfort and the other pair is what you considered “dressy” five years ago – and they’re now too tight around your belly.
