Everyone needs a nice pair of leggings in their closet for those casual, but “totally want to impress this date,” dates. 4. Ralph by Ralph Lauren Wool Pullover Sweater

This is a typical sweater pattern, yes. But if you pair it with a plaid pencil skirt, you can take your look from typical to funky. This sweater also would also look great paired with another color of checkered-gingham, too. Priced at $20.99 from ThredUp.

5. Plaid Maxi

Maxi dresses are never out of season, really. Make this plaid denim maxi dress stretch from fall to winter by pairing if with some thick tights and a patterned sweater.
