This is my favorite time of the year – holiday time. We get to drink hot toddies, mingle with friends, kiss loved ones under the mistletoe, and sing along to our favorite holiday tunes. So why not find new ways to not only spice up our eggnog but our holiday party looks too? I have put together 5 different ideas to help you add a little flare to your perfect holiday look. Choose one or more of these and you can’t go wrong.

1. It’s in the Details

Lace, fringe, or sequins all add interest in my mind. So play with one of them on your dress.

2. Add Some Texturee

These adorable hand-crafted T bar pumps with a stunning lotus flower print and intricate design from Bourgeois Boheme are vegan, sexy, and totally perfect for a night out. They are the icing on the cake.

3. Go Big with Accessories

Why not make a statement with a bold necklace or a fabulous handbag or clutch?

Stylist Emma Persson Lagerberg has a home that sings; this delicate space boasts a pallid backdrop with bold details. Each vignette captured by the talented lens of Petra Bindel is a study of contrast. Expansive white is relieved by dark and earthen accessories and sensuous curves are paired with masculine angles.

The eclectic elements of this home meld together to create an invitation to bask in cohesion. From stark white Eames chairs sitting beside antique wooden finds to the vintage avian prints, the interior is thoughtfully composed of contrasting styles and colors.

The bedroom is a clean palette for dreams accessorized by feminine details and lavender filtered light.

Say it with me, “Oh, la la.” This is the Buenos Aires studio and office of Lula Aldunate, founder of Lulaland. Last week’s vision of salt soaked pine still has me (literally) pining for a studio; somewhere to create, imagine, escape, and hang a manifesto. Yes, a manifesto – like the gorgeous and glamorous gold-framed wonder above (if I ever take those Spanish classes, I promise to translate this magical string of words for you). Mr. Webster defines a manifesto as, “a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer.” It seems fitting that any art studio should boast a manifesto lingering vertically on a wall.

The walls of this warehouse can barely contain the color and character brimming inside. The personality of this space draws from the creativity of its designer and the charisma of vintage pieces.
