We love John Oliver but hate food waste. So, we’re really happy that he gets that ugly food isn’t trash and food waste is lame.

On this past Sunday’s “Last Week Tonight,” Oliver explained to the world that most food waste isn’t actually waste, or trash, but totally viable meal options that just look a bit weird. Mashable picked what could be considered the best quote of the entire show:
