Powerhouse Shonda Rhimes is releasing a memoir in the fall and you know what that means: We’d better start lining up for a copy. Like, right now.

TV extraordinaire Shonda Rhimes (I’m sure you’ve heard of her) has taken over Thursday nights, and soon she’ll be taking over bookshelves. Simon & Schuster announced Tuesday Rhimes’ first book, “Year of Yes,” is set to launch in November, to which I say:

Once upon a time (December 2013, to be exact), Rhimes issued herself the ultimate New Year’s resolution: For one year, she would say yes to everything that scares her and all unexpected invitations she receives. (As a fellow introvert, I’m stress sweating just thinking about it.) In “Year of Yes,” Rhimes shares the play-by-play of the impact saying yes had on every aspect of her life, and how we can all change our lives with this simple—yet terrifying—little word.

“Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made,” Rhimes said in a statement. “It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone. However, once Simon & Schuster asked me, I had no choice – what else could I say but yes?”

Among the things she said yes to: Giving an incredibly poignant commencement speech to Dartmouth grads (her alma mater, natch), and doing a badass cameo on “The Mindy Project.”

As if that weren’t enough, Rhimes will also be releasing yet another amazeballs new show called “The Catch” (launch date TBD). The show follows a female forensic accountant who specializes in exposing fraud, and she of course isn’t who she appears to be. Meanwhile, she’s about to get married and conned by her fiancé—only, unlucky for him, her lies come crashing into his cons. (Dun dun dunnn!)

I’m hoping Rhimes’ next “yes” comes in the form of taking over ABC, don’t you? Then again, I don’t think we’d ever leave our couches. Well, at least not until her book comes out. Let’s face it: It’s Shonda’s world and we’re all just living in it.
