This is a great list. I practice dermatology in a community where patients are always looking for natural solutions for their skin problems. I particularly like your recipe for a natural acne cleanser. I myself find tea tree oil applied full strength to bug bites better at relieving the itch than the strongest topical cortisone creams.

I do urge caution with the allergy issue; I've seen some wild blistering of the toes from tea tree used for nail fungus. Some people are allergic to it, so if the skin starts itching after using tea tree-stop! The rash is much like poison oak or ivy.

Thanks for the list Stephanie! Other than using tea tree oil to zap some zits, I had no idea it had so many uses! I'm going to try and find a liter bottle somewhere ;)

All great uses and make me wish I hadn't passed up the bottle of tea tree the other day. I use mine to keep my scalp healthy and keep the flakes away. I have two ways of applying. I either use it straight from the bottle, massaging into the scalp using my finger tips or I mix it in a diluted form in a spray bottle and spray my scalp. Either way, it feels great!
