Over 40 members of the Evangelical Church signed a petition that said that global warming is real. That was between 1 – 2 years ago… Evangelicals have been on environmental missions… as covered in the series called, Is God Green, by Bill Moyers. The common thread here is important to strengthen to those willing to embrace the wisdom in it…

Interesting! I think it’s great that the Bible went Green, as long as folks aren’t throwing out their old Bibles and replacing them with Green ones..that would kind of defeat the purpose imho. But if people are buying them for 1st time or ‘needed’ Bibles, I think it’s awesome!

As the best selling book of all time, I think it’s a wise social choice..and that God wouldn’t have any problem with a Green Bible. That being said, I’m not so sure about the green tree on the front. Couldn’t it be a bit more subtle? It’s a Bible first, green second. The tree on the front, to me, emphasizes Green first…just my opinion. Although maybe it’s supposed to be the famous apple tree ;).
