It is obvious that he’s being tongue in cheek.

Read his quote: “Also, every vegan I’ve ever MET looks like the Crypt Keeper”.

It’s not like he’s saying every vegan in the world looks that way. It’s mock-ignorance! I mean he’s saying that Isaiah Mustafa and Zooey Deschanel, both vegans, are both healthy looking and attractive so as to induce jealousy!

I think it’s safe to say this is just satire. Come on, people!
