The one about sex harming the baby was the BIGGEST myth I’ve ever heard. I even remember my mother telling me about this when I was pregnant. As long as you aren’t trying some new “crazy” position or having no regard to the baby inside, you’re good to go 🙂

There is an entire book that is written about myths and superstitions in pregnancy, “Hands Off My Belly! The Pregnant Woman’s Survival Guide to Myths, Mothers, and Moods”. Each of the myths you describe above is discussed in detail in the book which is for sale on Amazon and at most brick and mortar stores. There are over a hundred myths and they are categorized for easier reading. You mentioned that resources in some of your answers and I would love to know what they are so I could read those as well.
