I honestly did not notice any drying effect in the days after. But I would stick to using it just once a week, especially if you are just getting used to using it.

You said your hair was “squeaking” after using the John Masters product. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? It doesn’t sound good really – it sounds like all your natural oils were stripped away, but then you go on to say how soft and nice your hair felt.
