Yes obvious Miguel.
My husband and I had the same talk regarding having heaps of money dumped into your lap and would you accept or say no?

Making money is not the problem here (I love to make money!) it's the borderline green-washing.
The quality is so bad too. I look at stitching when I buy clothes and with a few washes many of these clothes lose shape, have seams that unravel or hems that fray...
I can't imagine Norma Kamali is using he own manufacturers but maybe I'm wrong.

I was watching a video today "The Story of Stuff," with Annie Leonard and she talked about how we constantly consume stuff that wasn't meant to last long so we'd have to go out again to replace it.
I support small designers because I know what I've got and how well things are made by them. I have their clothing forever (or at least until the next clothing swap).

Thanks to all for the comments-love them.

I think is obvious why Norma Kamali works with WalMart! and let not fool ourselves, Wal Mart shoppers are far from being green and most of the products found in WM are the lowest quality and made over seas. That doesn't seem very eco-friendly to me!
