i love these new products! Im 22 and i just bought the eyeliner, blush stick, and magic face refresher lotion… for myself! So its not just for 8-12 y/o. I have very sensitive skin so i was ecstatic to see all natural cosmetics in some pretty awesome colors, i might add. As for little girls using make-up, i think its something every mom should discuss with her daughter and should be based on personal decision of the mother and daughter.

Disturbing? Absolutely. But to call out some marketing guy for what was almost certainly not his initiative is most likely misaligned. Walmart would have done extensive market research to discern that 8-12 year olds apparently are looking for a more natural makeup option, whatever the hell that means (the questions for Carden are perfect!)
Solution: don’t shop at Walmart and skip that next episode of Tots and Tiaras.

Little girls can’t be little girls anymore? I would never buy this for my daughter. I let her wear a little bit of my makeup now and then, it’s a treat, it’s fun. This is just awful. Leave it to Walmart (and co) to imply that children that young should start slathering ‘anti-aging’ products on their skin before there is even a chance of them having wrinkles.
