Lovely post.

Reheated experiences aren’t satisfying. But they remind us, tantilizingly, briefly, of what we’ve completely forgotten we miss so much it hurts. The present is where we can (start to) do soemthing about that….

(Reheated coffee always tastes like thermos-flask coffee. Why is that?)
