Here’s who we think will take top honors at the Golden Globes 2015.

Okay, so a good chunk of us are watching the Golden Globes 2015 to secretly pretend we’re partying it up with Tina and Amy, but there’s also the big question who’s going to win. Reese or Julianne? Will “Orange Is The New Black” get snubbed again? I can’t believe we have to wait until Sunday to find out. Does anyone else feel like it’s forever from now?

To tide you over, here are our officially unofficial predictions for the Golden Globes 2015:

Best Motion Picture – Drama
“Boyhood”

There are a ton of amazing movies nominated this year, but based on the awards-season obsession with this motion pic so far, I’ve got a good feeling the obsession will continue.

Best Actor – Drama
Eddie Redmayne, “The Theory of Everything”

There is some serious competition in this category, but Eddie’s performance as Stephen Hawking was mindblowing.

Best Actress – Drama
Julianne Moore, “Still Alice”

It’s hard to say where they’ll go with the fabulous actress nominees this year, but I’m hoping it’s finally Julianne’s turn. She’s been nominated five times for her film work and hasn’t won once. (To which I say, WTF?) In “Still Alice,” she plays a professor diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer’s.

Best Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical
“Birdman”

“Birdman” is in the lead this year with seven nominations so I feel like they’re the top contender for this nod – though I’m not one to ever write off a musical.

Best Actor – Comedy/Musical
Michael Keaton, “Birdman”

Who doesn’t love a big comeback? But it’ll be his multi-layered performance that will send the former Batman straight up to the podium.

Best Actress – Comedy/Musical
Emily Blunt, “Into The Woods”

Not going to lie, I’m not the biggest fan of musicals. (The thought of people just randomly bursting into song freaks me out.) That being said, I’m such a huge fan of Blunt. But should Moore sweep both acting categories, I wouldn’t be heartbroken either.

Best TV Series – Drama
“The Good Wife”

I feel like this category is going to be a toss-up between “The Good Wife” and “The Affair,” who had an explosive first season. I’m leaning toward “The Good Wife” because of how insanely impressed I am with its current season – everyone from the writers to the actors has kicked things up about 20 notches.

Best Actor – Drama Series
Kevin Spacey, “House of Cards”

Now that Brian Cranston’s out of the running, I feel like it’s Spacey’s turn to bust out his acceptance speech. That being said, I wouldn’t put it past them to choose Dominic West of “The Affair,” either. The show itself, and his performance, is out of this stratosphere.

Best Actress – Drama Series
Viola Davis, “How to Get Away With Murder”

This one isn’t a prediction. It’s a fact.

Best TV Series – Comedy/Musical
“Orange Is The New Black”

Like I said, last year they were robbed. Enough is enough.

Best Actor – Comedy/Musical
Jeffrey Tambor, “Transparent”

One, I love love love love love Jeffrey Tambor. Two, he’s received so much buzz for his role as a man who comes out to his family as transgender that it’s impossible not to predict him the winner.

Best Actress – Comedy/Musical
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, “VEEP”

Julia hasn’t won a Golden Globe since ’94 for Elaine Benes (I bet her dancing is what sealed the deal), so call me hopeful. If it’s not Julia, then it better be Taylor Schilling for “Orange Is The New Black.” Just saying.

Is it just us, or does that red carpet look a little greener?

Tonight, while most people will tune into the 69th Golden Globes to see if The Help will beat out Moneyball for Best Picture, our eyes will be trained on the red carpet pre-show coverage to see Livia Firth kick off her annual Green Carpet Challenge. What can we say? She has us hooked.

Firth, who runs Eco-Age and is married to actor Colin Firth, started the Green Carpet Challenge in 2009 to bring attention to her work in ethical and sustainable fashion. That year, she pledged to only wear upcycled, vintage, and eco-friendly outfits while accompanying her husband on the red carpet during awards season. The following year, the challenge picked up speed when Colin was the Best Actor pick across awards shows for his performance in The King’s Speech. Livia was by his side the whole way through, notably in a gorgeous upcycled Gary Harvey dress at the Oscars.

This year, Firth has recruited an impressive roster of designers who will dress her for awards season in accordance with GCC’s strict ethical and sustainable standards. The list includes Tom Ford, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney.

Tonight’s gown was designed by Giorgio Armani with eco-friendly materials, and Firth has been involved in its creation from day one. Firth described the process as “unreal” and writes on her blog:

To work with Armani was a real lesson in the design process. Everything begins with the material. Fortunately, Giorgio loved the eco material and knew he could work with it. The passion and efficiency of Giorgio’s team has been infectious.

Just before the show kicks off, Livia will release photos of and details about her dress on her Green Carpet Challenge blog at VOGUE UK. We’ll be there too.

I always feel sorry for celebrities come awards time. There is just as much emphasis put on their red carpet garb as their award nominations and with the Golden Globes this weekend, I realized I haven’t done enough for all the starlets.

So apologies go out specifically to Natalie Portman, Helena Bonham Carter, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry and Livia Firth for not suggesting this before. With all of you in the limelight on Sunday, we should have thought of this earlier.

Next year, I’d like to host a DIY night for you at my place. All of you star-studded ladies could bring your old dresses and I’ll bring the garment racks and let’s just have an old fashioned trying on party – see what works for you that worked for another breast oozing beauty last year. I’ll also bring a tailor to make the modifications necessary, and lots of tape and jars of bedazzling items. After all, there’s no reason why you can’t reuse.

Natalie, I could have modified so many vintage dresses for your Bjork style but naturally dyed (black) of course and messages tucked into feathers trailing off the back like “The dark side in Star Wars was nothing compared to my last gig,” “Making out with women in cabs is hot,” and “Honk if you love swans.” We could have even made a mean feather lipstick for you in collaboration with a natural cosmetics company? We didn’t think! I seriously hate myself. Please look amazing because you are going to win everything.

Helena, when I think of all the crazy shit you usually wear to awards shows we could have had a DIY fest with garter belts, netting and royal tapestries embellishing something subtle, like a pirates outfit to really mix things up. So if you do win supporting actress for your role as the Queen Mother in The King’s Speech, you could still retain that “what the hell am I wearing again?” vibe but with a sustainable spin.

God, please wear something normal because your role was so wonderful and you might just win.

Nicole, this is a tricky year for you. My DIY for you would’ve been either full flourishing frills a la TP, or subtle, slendering and Rabbit Hole quiet. What will you do?

Regardless of the fact we didn’t get together, I am confident you will make the right decision. I don’t think it will be a sustainable one though.

With Halle Berry up for Best Actress based on her role in Frankie and Alice, as a “Multiracial American woman with dissociative identity disorder who struggles to retain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality,” I would have suggested cutting up dresses and merging two standout frocks from any of the other nominees already written about here to give her look a real “Two sides Of Halle” vibe.

No doubt it would have made us all feel a little messed up just looking at her.

Our final regret isn’t a regret at all, it’s a kudos to the ongoing red carpet fashion choices of Livia Firth who is not up for an award but husband Colin is for his role as stammering Prince Albert in The King’s Speech. Livia, who will be on her husband’s arm on the red carpet has surpassed my wildest dreams by recently upcycling her husband’s moth eaten suits for the Paris premier of The King’s Speech and spending all last year going eco.

What will she wear on Sunday? One can only hope something that ticks off her husband so he doesn’t have a real life stammering episode as he accepts his award for his completely owned performance as Prince Albert.

He just has to win.
